Then look no further because Ocean Beach Surf Camp San Diego offers the best Summer Day Surf Camp in Ocean Beach for beginner and intermediate surfers. Our surf camps are offered to children between the ages of 6-17 with little or no experience necessary. Your child will have his or her own tailored surf instruction according to their age group and level of experience on and off the water by one of our highly experienced surf instructors. Watch your child excel to another level of surfing by the end of the week with our proven teaching techniques and water safety instruction.
Your child will not only excel in surfing, all campers get to participate in fun beach activities, such as surf competitions on Fridays along with pizza and soft drinks during their presentations of certificates, visits to surfboard factories, environmental education, along with ocean awareness and safety. Students develop skills in and around the water that provide a foundation for fun safe and better surfing in the future.
Our surf instructors and day camp monitors/leaders/coordinators are qualified ocean lifeguards, certified in CPR and Red Cross technique along with current first Aid Basic Certifications with a minimum of at least 3 years surfing experience.
* Each class is limited with a 1:4 instructor/student ratio.
